After the failed first reshoot we had to do it again. This time we were determined to do it right.

After the reshoot, I had to edit the shot again. After spending many hours labouring over it, I found that even with multiple takes, it was impossible to find shots that were not overlapping with each other. This meant that we would have to reshoot again.
After we began editing we realised that the multiplicity shot was causing problems since the glitch I was trying to add was showing a stark difference in the masking I had done. There were also people moving around in the background that were overlapping or fading out with the mask. This meant we had to reshoot it. There were also a few other shots we wanted to do again. We went back to our third location for this. We also took more pictures for the social media page and digipak.
With our entire shoot and editing done, we had our first draft ready,

I was tasked to edit the scene with one frame and multiple shots. The idea was to see him appear in different parts of the screen for each line. It took me a few tries and many edits to get it right. In the end, however, we were satisfied.
The second scene I was in charge of editing was the multiplicity shot, one of the most difficult to both shoot and edit. After watching multiple videos on masking and editing, I finally attempted to edit it. After multiple attempts and many hours of editing it again and again I had a draft that we included with the rest of the project.
The last day of shooting was at night and required more people than just our artist. It was a group shot with everyone in suits. It was fun!
We also took the chorus in another outfit and took some final shots as well.
After the two vigourous days of shooting we had to edit and see how they were looking. The shots were turning out rather well.
By the third day of shooting we had gotten into the flow. We understood what to do and decided to bring out the tripod for some of the more interesting shots we wanted to include like the multiple shots in one frame. We also shot the chorus in another outfit. The sunset was not as stunning as the previous days but still very cooperative. We also took more pictures to put up on the social media page or use for the digipak.
We continued the strategy of editing a rough draft after the shoot to see how it was turning out. We were immediately satisfied with the shots of the first verse after seeing them edited together and we knew that with the proper refinement they would turn out very well.
Since we want to create a sense of branding, we did some research on digipaks of other artists so that we would understand what kind of images we could use and then link them with our other products.
The second day of shooting was met with more preperation. We added more details to our verse wise plan. We made a list of what shots were on the agenda for the day.
Once again, we got a beautiful sunset for a background. We retook some of the shots we realised needed to be adjusted and we shot the remaining of the first verse. We also shot the chorus in a different outfit so that we would be able to mix up all the takes for it. We also took the skateboard shots for the third verse. We also did not forget the pictures for our other products; social media page and digipak.
BLOOD, SWEAT AND TEARS WERE WORTH IT. WE FINISHED!!!! https://drive.google.com/file/d/1RmRtQ-cddqjkTaHKyH6zd5pgzCQVcdiT/view?usp=sharing ht...
